in the kitchen.

as ryan and I continue to try new recipes, I've learned a few valuable lessons.

1. no matter how you spell it, phyllo/filo/fillo/φύλλο, you need to thaw it out first

2. you must put the food processor back exactly right or you will see a red light, making you think you've broken said processor. it's not broken, just not secure. reading a manual can save you much frustration...

3. some things look better on a magazine page than they actually taste in real life
