two months!

I cannot believe it's been two whole months already...

the first month flew by, as I imagined it would. an amazing honeymoon in Ireland followed by an emergency trip to the vet the day after we got home made for an interesting first few weeks. then we settled into married life, and everthing seems "normal" to me.

life as toryan is good.

Target.

Target registry is done! (For now, anyway...)

However, I still cannot get the Graco stroller off the list. Not really sure how a stroller became a part of our WEDDING registry in the first place. We didn't even walk down the stroller aisle.

Weird.

Anyway, working on C&B now.

cleaning out the draft folder.

so I just discovered I've had a few posts in the "draft" folder...just reread this article. pulling some ideas from it now.

thanks to washingtonian for this article on an *amazing* wedding, on the cheap...wish I would have read something like this before I started planning (...and sending out non-refundable deposit checks!)

cute cocktail hour idea.

I've had this post (via The McWoods blog) bookmarked for quite some time now. I think this little card is a great idea for the cocktail hour.

As Sarah so eloquently puts it...

As the back of the card says, hopefully this will keep our guests somewhat entertained during any boring bits (and may act as an ice breaker for guests who may not know each other)

I am hoping to have some of these made up for our cocktail hour. A little something fun for the guests while we are taking pictures after the ceremony.

Whatdya think??
